The historic grist mill, dating back to 1835, is located in Mansfield, CT and was used to grind oats, corn and wheat by harnessing the power of the Fenton River.  The original equipment is still intact and tours take place May through October.  The Gurleyville section of Mansfield is stunning in it’s natural beauty, dotted with lovely antique homes and offers walking trails along the river as well as across the rolling hills of the area.  Quiet and serene, this area of town is only a mile or two from the UConn campus.
