Yes, we have cows and farms in Ct and Tom and I love driving by the beautiful open fields. As lifelong residents we are used to Bessie peering out at us from behind the fence but perhaps everyone else is not so, she wanted us to take her photo and pass it along!

I cannot believe summer is almost over, July was rainy and August was over way too fast, the kids have been back in school almost two weeks now. We had a blast last weekend with two big parties (looking back on it what where we thinking ….) and are getting back into the fall school and sports schedule for our grandson who is now playing soccer and TCB baseball (again, what were we thinking….).
Here are some photos of Columbia lake taken this summer including pictures of lake homes and general lake lifestyle photos. We loved spending time with friends and family and the memories that were created this summer will always be treasured. This holiday weekend is a bit bittersweet to me as it is also an end to summer, so…… goodbye summer, it’s been great, see you next year!
